Jon the Landlord and Lucy the Chef
welcome you to the Chestnut Horse.
Situated midway between Driffield and Bridlington on the wonderful Yorkshire Wolds. The Pub dates back to 1793 and has over the past two years become recognised as 'The Pie Pub', having between 35 - 45 different pies to choose from.
Being surrounded by beautiful farmland and being called The Chestnut Horse the decision was made easy to name all the pie fillings after breeds of horses from all over the world, whether it's the very British Shire (meat and potato) or something from a bit further afield like the Lusitano from Portugal (Pork, Pancetta and chorizo).
Dozens of people are making their way through the list with Lucy always one pie ahead with some fantastic and different tastes at every turn.
A very warm welcome awaits you to become one of the PIE-oneers....
